A 13x6 lace front wig measures 13 inches across and 6 inches back. How Do I Measure My Head for a Lace Front Wig?
It is very important to measure your head properly for any type of wig. It will ensure that your wig fits properly, making sure you don’t experience a constant need for adjustment throughout the day. This will reduce the chance you damage your hair and scalp with regular wig installation and wear. It will also minimize your worries that other people can tell you are wearing a wig. In order to measure your wig for a lace frontal, have a tailoring measuring tape handy. This allows you to take accurate measurements as it can conform to the shape of your head and actually curve around it. Next, you’re going to want to measure from one ear to the other ear across your hairline. If you are close to 13 on this measurement, you can either opt for the 13x4 or 13x6 wig. Next, measure from the front of your hairline where you would place the front of the wig to where your wig would end. If this is 4 inches, select 13x4. If it is longer, select 13x6.
